“How can we become the Labschool of the Netherlands?”
Laboratories are crucial in healthcare, but also in, for example, the protein or energy transition (think of the development of biobased materials). At the same time, labs are increasingly being automated under the influence of AI and robotics, which is changing the nature of the work.
These are just a few of the opportunities and challenges facing the highly motivated team of the Laboratory Technology programme at MBO College West (ROC van Amsterdam) to keep preparing students for the future. We facilitate the movement that is already there, with sessions that help provide direction or make choices, create a shared vision of the future, collectively identify and strengthen opportunities, develop ideas with the various stakeholders, facilitate the implementation of those ideas into existing structures and ways of working, learn from them together and iterate, and coach leadership and collaboration to keep the movement going.
